Brooks' Motorcycle

One of my in-laws favorite places to take Brooks is Costco. We can't even say the name aloud because he will beg us to go there. They love to take him around to sample all of the food, and then let him loose in the toy section. That always turns out wonderful for Brooks, because they can't say no when he asks for something. That was the case for his motorcycle. They brought it home, and when he realized that it was a powered vehicle, he freaked out and wouldn't have anything to do with it! So it's just been sitting here for months. On Saturday we went and visited some friends we haven't seen in a while and they have 5 kids ranging from 4-17. Brooks ran off with some of the kids and had a blast playing. They're all much bigger and rougher than he is, but he hung in there. Once we got home and I had gotten him all ready for night night, he went and sat on the motorcycle and said I want to ride it! I think being around the big kids made him brave. So Brian took it outside, Brooks got on it and took off! He has had a blast on it and asks to ride it everyday. I'm so glad my little boy is becoming braver!

Blaire's Graduation

My little sister graduated from Riverside High School today. We are so proud of her! I know she is happy to be done and heading to Clemson in August. She will be majoring in Graphic Communications. As of 6am tomorrow morning she will be heading to the Dominican Republic with 7 of her closest girlfriends for their senior trip. What an awesome place to go...I have to say that I'm jealous of her right now :)
