Playgroups (the past 2 weeks)

Last Monday for our playgroup we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. I had never taken the kids there for a reason (craziness), so I wasn't sure what to expect. It turned out to be the perfect day. There weren't very many people so we kept up with the kids a lot easier. B had a great time playing the games and collecting tickets. We all ordered pizza and let the kids sit at their own table together, while us moms (plus Carson :) sat and chatted. Once we were ready to leave the kids got to turn in their tickets and pick out their prizes. B got an octopus he named Swirly Twirly, and a spider he named Itsy. He's been playing with them non-stop...so glad it doesn't take much to entertain him!

Yesterday we went strawberry picking. Brooks loves going and has been asking for a while, so our playgroup went! Little did we know, 2 other playgroups of friends we all know were there as well! The kids had a blast picking and eating the strawberries. I put C in the jogger, but that was a little rough (still better than having to carry him the whole time!) Reece helped me out and played with him a lot. Of course he loved that...he loves girls! We filled our baskets and let the kids run around for a while then headed out. The weather turned out to be perfect as well...warm and cloudy with a nice breeze!
